Runs decent on medium between 40-60 fps rarely stable, around 90% at ~50-55 fps and lowering setting to low doesn't make a difference. It is very well playable but at a console experiance so if you drop screen to 40hz and limit things a bit you might get some more battery life. Fan runs most of the time and sometimes it gets a bit loud.

Newbie. Hi, I bought and downloaded NFS Payback a few days ago and have been playing it but now have got to a point in the story where I cannot continue because the game hasn't fully installed? Stuck at 93% and wont go anymore than that.
Stuttering is mainly in the prologue and clears after, but the FPS fluctuations that persist make it unplayable sometimes. Again, CPU usage goes from 85-100% and the percentage itself can change dramatically second-by-second. As a result, GPU usage is both limited and does the same.
I just installed the NFSHP-Remastered but it will not launch on my PC running Windows 11. I have tried the following solutions but none works: - Launch after clean reboot - Remove NVIDIA and/or Steam Overlay - Open in windowed . None of these work. My PC runs NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti (4Gb) with 16 GB RAM and AMD Ryzen 5800u.

I have tried fresh install, I have tried downloading EA app from their site and running it that way, tried to download EA through the game to launch. Tried to run from Steam, EA, and as admin in the file location.

It also says a minimum 3.6Ghz CPU clock speed. Your mate's g5500 runs at 3.8Ghz but your g4400 runs at 3.3Ghz. Also his CPU has 2 cores and 4 threads but yours is 2 cores 2
This is the best fix I found, as Deleting or moving the .rar/.cab files is a work around and doesn't allow the game to fully download. TO FIX GO INTO REGEDIT AND CHANGE THIS, NO RESTART IS REQUIRED. Navigate to the following keys: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DirectX.
GOT IT! :-) 1) quit steam a run it again as an administrator. 2) download and install Origin app manually from their website and run it as administrator as well. 3) now the game should appear as installed and you can play.. works for me like a charm, the problem is somewhere in bad communication between those apps.. #2.
